our story

Founded By Amber Soltz in 2018, Luna Love was a dream come to fruition.

Being born and raised in Southern Oregon, I quickly discovered my green thumb at an early age—and with it, a love for all things in the natural world! Plants have always been a big part of my life; so, this unsurprisingly led me to pursue a B.S. in Environmental Science at Portland State University. In the following years spent in Portland, I grew a strong desire to open my very own plant shop. When the opportunity presented itself in 2018, my Pitbull rescue and best friend of many years, Luna, and I moved back to Southern Oregon and made Ashland our home to do just that. From inception, Luna Love was designed to be a safe space to provide sanctuary and affordable high-end plants for everybody.

Proudly, a WoC and vegan-owned business.

All sexual orientations, gender identities, religions, races, and ANIMALS are always welcome, too!

What makes Luna Love different?

Luna Love partners with small business owners, local non-profits, and other charitable efforts to support and drive change for underrepresented communities.

Each item is thoughtfully hand-curated from small/local businesses and ethical nurseries—often BI/PoC, Queer, and/or women-owned—for a welcoming and loving shopping experience.

Throughout the year, Luna Love holds fundraisers and donates proceeds from shop sales to charities and causes of my (or Geo the Bunny’s) choice. Some of the organizations we have donated to are the Ashland School District and S.O.U.; Oregon Humane Society; The Trevor Project; The A.C.L.U.; For the Gworls; Planned Parenthood; and N.E.D.A.
